Potential fields of application for FEA calculations and CAE simulations have virtually no limitation. So, besides the area of automotive and turbomachines, elaborated in the respective menu items, we offer our services in a variety of further usages. This comprises the field of consumer goods and appliances as well as issues concerning the packing and transport of the products for instance. In addition, simulation offers solutions for tasks and problems in general machine and plant engineering and construction.
Considering not only the materials’ linear-elastic range but also their plastic deformation and failure behaviour, we are able to reliably identify design limits, limitations of loading and potentially weak points of a machine’s construction and to enhance these products with appropriate, easily viable measures.

FEA calculations can be used for many problems in structural mechanics dynamics as well as in statics and dynamics. This aims for example in evaluating structures’ stress distribution and deformation behaviour resulting from single or complex loading and so to be able to elaborate constructive enhancements.
For problems involving high non-linearities in material, in structure, and in contact situations, as well as in highly dynamic processes we apply the so-called explicit analysis. In addition to the classic crash tests in automotive and to the containment of turbomachines, this deals with drop tests for example or with complex requirements of packaging, brackets or further substructures.
